Experiences Costa Rica was born from a shared dream and a deep passion for travel. We’re a husband-and-wife team with over two decades of combined experience in tourism and finance, committed to helping travelers discover the magic of Costa Rica.

Carla began her journey in tourism at a young age, and after just over a year in the industry, she was offered the role of general manager at one of the most recognized travel companies in La Fortuna—and in Costa Rica. She led the company for many years until the COVID-19 crisis reshaped the tourism landscape. When travel began to recover, Carla was invited to return to her former role, but by then, a new vision had taken root.

Together, we launched Experiences Costa Rica nearly five years ago, inspired by our love for independent travel and our adventures across the Americas and Europe. Our personal journeys have enriched our understanding of what travelers truly need: honest guidance, seamless planning, and authentic experiences.
